No todos los riesgos merecen nuestro tiempo ni nuestro presupuesto. El Análisis Cualitativo es un filtro rápido y subjetivo. Utilizamos la experiencia del equipo para asignar un valor numérico a la Probabilidad (P) de que ocurra el evento y a su Impacto (I). Al multiplicarlos (P × I), obtenemos un puntaje o "Score". Los riesgos que caen en la zona roja avanzan al riguroso Análisis Cuantitativo; los riesgos en la zona verde simplemente se anotan en una Lista de Observación (Watchlist).
Not all risks deserve our time or budget. Qualitative Analysis is a fast and subjective filter. We use the team's experience to assign a numerical value to the Probability (P) of the event occurring and its Impact (I). By multiplying them (P × I), we get a "Score". Risks falling into the red zone advance to the rigorous Quantitative Analysis; risks in the green zone are simply noted on a Watchlist.

Evalúa qué tan creíble es la información que tenemos sobre un riesgo. Si basamos una calificación alta en un "rumor", la calidad del dato es baja y el análisis cualitativo es inútil.
Evaluates how credible the information we have about a risk is. If we base a high rating on a "rumor", the data quality is low and the qualitative analysis is useless.
